Florence and the Machine – Cosmic Love (Cemoa Remix)
I know R Rated is going up later today (which is epic by the way), but this remix could not wait. This just so happens to be one of the first remixes that Cemoa has done, and it is absolutely breath taking. I think that even if you usually don’t find yourself dipping your ears in dubstep, this track is for anyone willing to give it a chance. Virtual Riot & Amba Shepherd – Superhuman
More and more young artist are emerging out of no where with these monster tracks. Add Virtual Riot to the list of 17 year old producers who are making the veterans look bad. This track is flawless on so many levels I don’t know where to begin. First off Amba Shepherd’s vocals complement this track perfectly. The build up doesn’t prepare you for what is to come, because after and during the drop is where this track really comes together. The drop isn’t too heavy to drown out the vocals but it is still grimy enough to please any dubstepper’s appetite. Although the bass and drop are a little heavy this track somehow manages to put you in a state of euphoria, because of its perfect choice of instruments and synth sounds in the melody. Childish Gambino – Heartbeat (RotBott Remix)
Yesterday Cheyenne of Back From The Future shot me over this remix coming from a friend of his named Jesse Bravo, better known as RotBott from Los Angeles, CA. RotBott took Childish Gambino’s hit song ‘Heartbeat’ off his debut album Camp, and turned it into a heavy dubstep hip hop banger with enough bass to turn your world upside down. While I was getting this post ready, RotBott dropped yet another massive dubstep remix of Britney Spear’s song ‘I Wanna Go,’ so I decided to throw it in as a bonus track. Three 6 Mafia – Stay Fly (Candyland Remix)
After bringing us their massive complextro/dubstep collaboration with FTampa yesterday titled ‘Hypnotic,’ the Santa Barbara Candyland dubstep duo is back again with another free track, this time remixing Three 6 Mafia’s classic hit ‘Stay Fly.’ Candyland keeps the original vibe of this all-too-familiar track intact until the 55 second mark where they unleash a fury of heavy bass to accompany Three 6 Mafia’s classic chorus. To be completely honest, I forgot about this song until now, and I thank Candyland for bringing it back to life in such a proper manor. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!

The Killabits – Motown 2000 (Feat. Riggadale)
The boys behind the Bassmentality brand have just dropped a heavy new track that is sure to get your head nodding on this Fat Tuesday/four day week opener/insert generic excuse to go out tonight (even though you’ve been on a bender since Friday) here. Love how the glitchy synths and the driving, downtempo bassline play off of that repeated vocal sample in a steady but relentless build. Killa killa indeed.
